Summer time cocktail that won't pack on the pounds
I saw a video on TikTok (Thank you VRogers17)and she was making a Margarita mix with Limeade and Jalapenos. She got my attention!
The best Skinny Margarita I have ever had!
I immediately sent the video to my Husband because:
1) He loves Jalapenos and I knew he would come home with the ingredients, and:
2) I am on the constant search for the perfect cocktail - low fat, low sugar, great taste
I made one batch with the Limeade and the other batch I made with my Margarita mix that I had on hand - Skinny Margarita Mix. AND WOWZA!
Before we go any further I want to share that - anyone who knows me - you know I LOVE my WINE. I am basically a WINO. However, my husband and I are trying to find our summer bods, and mine is hidden under a winter of chardonnay.
So, after researching the healthiest alcohol to drink on a diet - I know, I know.... the healthiest would be to refrain from drinking alcohol at all, but, really? No..
I found this fantastic Margarita Mix! It only has 10 calories for 4 ounces! And if I make your drink, you only need 1 ounce of mix - Why? Because ICE is a MIXER!
Spicy Jalapeno Skinny Margarita

I am going to provide the recipe for the SKINNY version, but will put alternative mixers below!
Rocks Glass filled with Ice (Option to rim with lime juice and Himalayan Pink Salt)
Shot of Tequila - We use 1800 But you pick your favorite! I use the large end of the Jigger!
Two lime slices - Juice Squeezed into glass
Fill the glass with the remaining Jalapeno Infused Margarita Mix (recipe Below)
ENJOY!!
Jalapeno Margarita MIX
Margarita Mix of Choice:
Simply Limeade - more calories but DELISH
3 Fresh Jalapenos
Slice the Jalapenos and put in the bottle with the mixer! - Let marinate / soak for a couple hours - the longer the more flavor the Jalapenos will give the mix!
Or try any of your favorite mixers!
Here is one that is Pre Mixed! Just pour and drink!
